Moldova is once again hosting Europe Days. This year, a very busy program is expected.
Europe Days in Moldova will take place from May 12 to 19. The EU Delegation to the Republic of Moldova is preparing various events for this occasion.
The most striking of them were the organization of the European village on May 12 in Chisinau and on May 19 in Comrat.
Let's tell you in order what events await us these days.
On Saturday, May 12, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, a European Village will be held in Chisinau's Great National Assembly Square. Everyone will be able to visit and discover the cultural and culinary specialties of more than 20 European countries.
You'll also have the opportunity to learn a few phrases in the official languages of the participating countries. French language courses will be held from 2:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in Hall 1 and from 4:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in Hall 2.
France will be strongly represented on this day, with the French stand open from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Learn about the activities of the Alliance Française, the French Embassy in Moldova, and much more right on site.
As always, those wishing to sample traditional European dishes can enjoy French pastries from Crème de la Crème and delicacies from the French cuisine of the Café de Paris restaurant.
The highlight of the day will be a concert featuring local and international performers.
A similar event with the participation of the French Alliance and the French Embassy will be held in Comrat on Saturday, May 19.
As for the cultural program, film screenings are planned from May 14 to 18 at the Gaudeamus Cinema. The event will also feature the second edition of the European Film Festival, featuring 15 films by European filmmakers.
