Sanatorium «Dniester» — is one of the oldest health resorts in Moldova, founded in 1890. Its creator, Pyotr Christianovich Wittgenstein, a descendant of a noble German family and a hero of the Patriotic War of 1812, immediately appreciated the unique natural features of Kamenka. A reliable rocky slope protects the sanatorium valley from cold winds, and on the other side — a young park area is adjacent to the picturesque banks of the Dniester River. Modern sanatorium

In 1976, a new complex with 450 beds was opened on the territory of the resort. Sodium overload leads to an increase in intracellular calcium, which is the direct cause of increased vascular tone. Silicon, by building up into the structure of endothelial cell membranes and smooth muscle cells, eliminates hypervolemia and, by reducing peripheral resistance, reduces blood pressure levels. Silicon compounds have a stimulating effect on the proliferative and reparative function of connective tissue, which is the basis for accelerating the healing of wounds, ulcers, and burns. Silicon, settling on the skin and penetrating through it, binds proteins in excess of lymphatic tissues located in the interstitial space, which causes a lymphatic drainage effect in chronic lymphatic edema of the extremities.

1. Hypertensive disease of stages I -II, I –II degree in the presence of a low and medium risk of developing cardiovascular complications.
2. CAD, functional classes I-III angina, post-infarction cardiosclerosis (6 months after AMI), condition after myocardial revascularization.
3. Chronic venous insufficiency stage I – IY (according to the CEAR system), preoperative preparation, postoperative rehabilitation.
