History and modernity
The sanatorium began its activities on May 19, 1959 under the name «Soviet Moldova» on the basis of the first balneological republican hospital in the village of Zhirzhauka. Initially, the health resort was located in the buildings of a former monastery and operated as a trade union health resort.
In 1974, the foundation was laid for a modern complex, which today is a fully equipped sanatorium with high living comfort. The modern sanatorium has a capacity of 460 beds and offers a wide range of health and preventive programs, allowing you to combine relaxation with effective treatment.

mineral water (hydrocarbonate – sulfate – sodium with antacid effect, choleretic, cholikinetic) is one of the main factors in the treatment of diseases of the gastrointestinal tract and diet, intestinal irrigation, infusions of medicinal herbs.
Musculoskeletal treatment
mud applications, sage baths, underwater shower-massage, circular shower, massage, physiotherapeutic procedures, pool gymnastics, and physical therapy are considered.
