If we talk about the geography of Moldova, very few in the world have ever heard of Moldova. Many are surprised even that such a small country even exists. But despite this, Moldova remains an interesting country with its own customs and culture.
So Moldova, it's a tiny country located in eastern Europe, and to be very precise, at 47 north latitude and 29 east longitude. The country's territory is 33.7 thousand square kilometers, which is not so little, because in Europe there are fewer states. The greatest length from north to south is 350 kilometers, and from west to east 150 kilometers. From a geographical point of view, it seemed to squeeze between Ukraine and Romania.
Most of the country lies between the two rivers Prut and Dniester. Also one of the advantages of Moldova, it is located very close to the Black Sea, but has no access to the sea, with the exception of the small port in Giurgiulesti.
Due to its geographical location, the climate in Moldova is mild and temperate continental. Mild winters predominate here, which are very short and the average temperature in January does not fall, as a rule, below -10 degrees. But summer is hot and the thermometer rises to plus 28 degrees in July, which lasts a long time, and sometimes reaches plus 35-40 degrees.
