It is symbolic that it is at the beginning of spring that many countries around the world celebrate International Women's Day, March 8, a celebration that has great meaning.

The renewal that occurs in nature in spring is akin to the life-giving power of a woman in her ability to give new life and continue the human race.

Woman herself, according to biblical history, was created from a man's rib. And why from a rib? As the ancient sages noted, "not from the leg, to be inferior... not from the head, to be superior... but from the side," to be equal.

The history of human development shows that women's right to equality has long been violated. Leadership in the material world has always belonged to men, with women relegated to a rather modest place.

With the "empty pots" march, they publicly declared their desire to occupy a worthy place in society, and as a sign of this, March 8th became International Women's Solidarity Day in defense of their rights and freedoms.

In the modern world, women play a prominent role in public and political life, occupy high-level leadership positions, and work in all sectors, even those originally intended only for men.

At the same time, International Women's Day on March 8 has fundamentally lost its social origins, becoming a true celebration of the feminine principle, because it is created "from under the hand, to be protected... and from the heart, to be loved."

From a celebration of self-affirmation, it has evolved into a celebration of Her Majesty Woman. The increased attention from men on this day elevates all members of the fair sex to a pedestal of adoration and reverence, and allows the stronger half of humanity to showcase their best qualities.

March 8th is widely celebrated officially, being a public holiday in many countries, including Moldova. Concert halls and theaters host performances honoring women, and television programs bring a festive atmosphere into every home.

Flowers, gifts, words of recognition and gratitude are received on this day by everyone: little girls, young beauties, faithful companions, beloved mothers, grandmothers, daughters, granddaughters, mothers-in-law, mothers-in-law...

How many roles in life are destined for each of us by fate, and the main one is to be a real Woman!!!
