The village of Trebujeni or Trebujeni is located in the central part of Moldova, near the cliffs of Old Orhei.

It is this archaeological museum complex that attracts the majority of tourists to the village, who stop there to rest and also to sample all the delights of Moldovan provincial life and cuisine.

You can get to the village of Trebujeni by public transport from the capital of Moldova, Chisinau.

The only drawback is that the Chisinau-Trebujeni shuttle bus only runs twice a day. This is important to keep in mind when planning your trip.

However, the village does offer comfortable accommodations: the country's most famous guesthouse, Alla Benzena, is located here, as well as the high-quality agro-pensions Casa din Lunca and Casa de sub Stinca.

Among the most interesting sights of the village of Trebujeni are a small old church located on its territory, as well as numerous caves and rock monasteries, the ruins of Turkish baths, traces of ancient human civilization dating back to the 14th century, many of which can be found in the vicinity of the village.
