The bell tower above the Peshtere rock monastery was erected in 1890.
It is located right at the entrance and is designed in the late classical style.
The bell tower has survived to this day and attracts the attention of numerous visitors to the Old Orhei open-air museum, on whose territory the monastery is located.

The bell tower marks the entrance to the monastery, and it is from here that a steep staircase descends into the cells.
From the bell tower, you can admire a beautiful view of the winding Raut River and the defensive structures that once protected the ancient settlement on the north-eastern side.
