Tiraspol Wine and Brandy Factory KVINT – over 120 years of history and tradition
The Tiraspol KVINT Wine and Cognac Factory is a symbol of Moldovan wine and cognac production, a company with a rich history and internationally recognized products. The factory's history begins in 1897 , when a cleaning warehouse was built on Vokzalnaya Street in Tiraspol to process wine stock received from local villagers. It produced a 40-percent grape vodka , which immediately gained popularity due to its high quality and pure taste.
Several decades later, KVINT began producing divins —unique Moldovan distillates aged in oak barrels. The first distillates were aged in 1938 , marking a turning point in the distillery's history and paving the way for international recognition. Since then, KVINT has gradually developed, introducing new technologies and expanding its product range, while maintaining traditional winemaking and cognac production methods.
